At EasyDoo Chat, accessible from https://easydotasks.com, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors / user of our Apps. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by EasyDooChat and how we use it. This Privacy Policy applies only to our online App activities and is also valid for visitors to our website with regards to the information that they shared and/or collect in EasyDoo Chat. This policy is not applicable to any information collected offline or via channels other than this website.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

The personal information that you are asked to provide, and the reasons why you are asked to provide it, will be made clear to you at the point we ask you to provide your personal information.

When you register / sign in, for an Account, we may ask for your contact information, including items such as name, Date of Birth, company name, address, email address, and telephone number.

In Easydoo Chat App, we ask for the following information and the reasons are explicitly mentioned below –

Name: User name is only an identifier for users’ contacts to recognise each other in the app and Assign Task, Meet or Chat with one another.

Mobile phone no: is the unique identifier for an account.

Email id: we use this only to send users their OTP for app login or for customer service purpose only.

Date of Birth: This info is used within the app to facilitate users to wish their contacts on their birthday.

Images/Media Files – We collect this information based on user consent. This info will only be collected and stored on our server securely when you send any media message to other user or group.

If you contact us directly, we may receive additional information about you such as your name, email address, phone number, the contents of the message and/or attachments you may send us, and any other information you may choose to provide.

The app will ask to access your phone shared images and media files to send it to other easydo app users or group in chat/message only when you send it. A permission prompt and after granting the consent it will ask you to select media file or take from camera.

The app will optionally allow you to upload your profile photo which will show your identity to other users basically to recognise your profile.

User will always have the ability to delete media files from EasyDoo Server with an option – Delete for everyone. This will delete the file permanently from easy do server too.

Media files collected and shared are used strictly for the above stated app functionality and features and for no other purpose and it will be stored on EasyDoo server.

App will upload file with secure http protocol and will never share with any third party entities.

 

 

Contacts Policy

  1. The App access your phone contacts inorder to sync same with easydoo server contact data and create a common user contact list within your easydoo chat app, so…
    (a) you will see how many people from your contacts are using EasyDoo Chat App,
    (b) u will be able to use the app feature and functionality of chat / call communication with user contacts within the app.
    (c) for incoming calls / chat msg etc., You will see the callers names as saved in your Phone Contact which make this app more personalized.
    (d) Assign Task / Meet and collaborate with your contacts and be more productive.

Location Access

Always in use, when the following features are used in the app –

Tag Filter – If user enables Auto Geo-location based Tag selection, Tags corresponding to the user’s current location are selected automatically. This happens when the app is open and in either the foreground or background.

Auto Status Update of Meet – The app uses the users location at the start date and time of the Meet to determine if the user is at the location of the user defined Meet and if so, the app updates the users status to ‘attended’. This happens even when the app is closed, in the background or open ie. in any state. If user only Allow access when app in use, this function will work erratic, as the user may have attended the meet and thereafter left the meeting location, while all the time if and when the app is closed – in such cases App will Not be able to Auto-Attend the Meet and will show incorrect status. Users are highly recommended to allow location service always in use.

Create Meet – when user is creating a meet, there is a need to define the meeting location, so that meet participants can arrive at the location using Google maps. The default location in create meet page, is the current location of the phone and for this we need location access when app is in use.

Log Files

EasyDoo Chat follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services’ analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.

 

Cookies and Web Beacons

Like any other website, EasyDoo Chat uses ‘cookies’. These cookies are used to store information including visitors’ preferences, and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the users’ experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors’ browser type and/or other information.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs. EasyDoo Chat’s Privacy Policy does not apply to other advertisers or websites. Data is transmitted over HTTPS using modern cryptography with 256 bit end-to-end encryption with certificate issued by – Go Daddy Secure Certificate Authority – G2.

 

Who we share your data with

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email. We do not sell personal or sensitive user data.

 

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

 

What rights you have over your data
